Overview

Manager, Software Engineering to hire, build, and scale an engineering team for the India office, focusing on enterprise software development and AI-first engineering practices.

What you'll do

• Practice the full software development life cycle in an agile environment with focus on code quality, scalability, and performance.
• Design and implement products from scratch through production deployment.
• Research and implement cybersecurity mechanisms and drive experimentation with new technologies and tools.
• Engage with product management to establish product roadmap and release schedule.
• Foster leadership practices to groom next-generation engineering leaders.
• Partner with HR and executives to support India site-wide initiatives and local operations.
• Drive AI-first engineering practices using emerging technologies and continuous innovation.

What you'll need

• BS (or equivalent) with a major in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise software.
• 5+ years of experience hiring, leading, and scaling high-performance engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of backend systems and distributed architectures for technical strategy and architecture decisions.
• AI-forward engineering mindset with a history of leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies.
• Hands-on experience building enterprise-scale SaaS products, preferably around Identity and Access Management.
• Prior experience growing and managing an engineering team of 10+.
