Manager, SW Engineering

Overview

Lead a team of software engineers and QA engineers to deliver enterprise-scale software for Identity Security.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership for backend, frontend, and QA engineers.
• Guide technical and architectural decisions for the next-gen Identity Security Platform.
• Drive iterative software development focused on code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance.
• Champion unit test automation, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.
• Mentor and coach engineers and ensure adherence to security coding guidelines.
• Handle customer escalations with troubleshooting and fixes for product issues.
• Support hiring and collaborate with Product Management and other engineering teams.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise software.
• 3+ years leading a software development team as a tech/team lead.
• Experience with backend stack technologies: Python/Java/C#/Node.js/Go (or similar) on AWS/Azure/GCP ecosystems.
• BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent.
• Good understanding of security and best practices.
• Experience with Agile, TDD, and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

• Work model: most teams work from the office full time, with flexibility when needed.
• Location: Office - India - Bangalore Bagmane Tech Park.
