Manager Stat Programmer

Overview

As a Manager Stat Programmer, you lead statistical programming staff and provide advanced technical guidance on projects.

What you'll do

• Manage Statistical Programming staff including hiring, training, and supervision.
• Develop and implement standard procedures, performance measures, and training programs.
• Serve as a statistical programming consultant and lead statistical programmer on projects.
• Coordinate multi-project resource allocation, schedules, and staffing needs based on deadlines and peak workloads.
• Run recurring bi-monthly 1:1s to discuss project status, timelines, utilization, training, administrative obligations, and risks/mitigation.
• Provide expert review of process and methodology development against SP standards and validation procedures.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 12 years relevant experience, including 1 year in a leadership capacity.
• Advanced knowledge of SAS and technical database skills.
• Knowledge of statistics and/or the clinical drug development process.
• Proven staff management and strong leadership, motivational, and influencing skills.
• Strong organizational, metrics calculation, time management, and communication skills.
