Overview

Manager, Workplace & Facilities Operations for DoorDash India, leading day-to-day workplace and facilities operations for the Hyderabad site.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop on-site workplace and facilities teams (insourced and outsourced).
• Define team goals, performance metrics, and accountability for operations and service delivery.
• Implement processes and playbooks aligned with global workplace strategy to improve efficiency.
• Support space planning, office event coordination, and accommodation for evolving needs.
• Ensure facilities meet local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Manage vendors and contractors for essential services, including renewals and service level assessments.
• Maintain operating budget tracking and deliver updates to leadership on KPIs and progress.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of workplace leadership experience managing a team.
• Experience mentoring and developing team members and partnering cross-functionally.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across levels.
• Experience managing infrastructure service providers (e.g., custodial, catering, maintenance).
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects from planning through completion.
• Familiarity with budget tracking, financial planning, and procurement/sourcing processes.
• Hands-on skills with tools including Google Suite, Jira, Coupa, Slack, and Excel/Google Sheets.

Details

• Location: Hyderabad, India.
• Overnight position requiring some weekend work.
• Work in-office 5 days a week, with ~10% travel.
