Overview

As a Market Access Consultant - Senior Associate, you will engage with clients to develop customer-centric solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business growth. Within the Technology Consulting practice, you will analyze pricing models and customer profitability to optimize pricing strategies and maximize customer value.

What you'll do

• Analyze client needs to develop customer-centric solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
• Assess pricing models and customer profitability to optimize pricing strategies and improve profitability.
• Offer guidance and support to clients in implementing effective pricing strategies and maximizing customer value.
• Use analytical thinking and market trends to inform pricing and profitability analysis.
• Conduct price verification and performance analysis to support profitable growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align customer strategies with business transformation goals.
• Monitor sales and promotional pricing to validate alignment with revenue maximization objectives.
• Leverage pricing software and psychological pricing techniques to enhance customer value propositions.
• Develop and validate list-to-net waterfall simulations, accrual true-ups, and price realization analyses.
• Support financial modeling and variance analysis to identify value leakage and recommend improvements.
• Analyze complex problems and manage assigned workstreams.
• Build client connections and develop an understanding of the business context.
• Mentor Associates and other junior team members.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams across functions and geographies.
• Apply critical thinking to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
• Communicate clearly and confidently to connect with others.
• Uphold PwC's code of ethics and business conduct.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience in pricing strategy, market access, or related consulting work.
• Strong academic background in business, engineering, economics, or data sciences.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions and geographies and be comfortable in ambiguous and changing contexts.
• Ability to cultivate self-awareness through feedback and reflection.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently to connect with others.

Nice to have

• MBA preferred but not required.
• Advanced degree in health economics, pharmacoeconomics, or a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience with pharmaceutical companies or top-tier consulting firms is highly desirable.
• Competence in analytical tools and data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau, and relevant programming languages.
• Familiarity with data integrations, model governance, and access controls across GTN and ERP systems.
