Overview

Assistant to a Pricing Technology Functional Consultant role in PwC’s Acceleration Center India, focused on consulting support for pricing strategy and profitability analysis.

What you'll do

• Analyze pricing models to assess customer profitability.
• Advise clients to optimize pricing strategies and improve profitability.
• Conduct industry and competitive research to inform pricing structures and policies.
• Collect, interpret, and analyze data using financial metrics and pricing trends.
• Design and present forecasting models, reports, and dashboards for pricing decisions.
• Evaluate client pricing processes and drive transformation through future-state processes and tools.
• Develop business requirements to support implementation of price optimization platforms.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of experience developing pricing models and strategies across multiple clients.
• Strong understanding of profit margins, cost structures, and revenue models.
• Knowledge of value-based, cost-plus, and dynamic pricing methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on experience with BI/analytics platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Ability to collect, clean, and structure data from multiple sources for insights.
• At least a Bachelor's degree.
