Overview
Own pre-launch compliance review and ongoing monitoring of Decentralized Masters' externally facing marketing and sales assets, keeping advertising, earnings claims and sales-floor language within FTC, SEC, platform and financial-promotion rules.
What you'll do
- Run pre-launch compliance review for every external marketing asset, including paid social and search ads (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok), VSLs, landing pages, webinar slides, email sequences, SMS flows and affiliate-distributed copy.
- Maintain a versioned asset library with compliance notes, approval status and review history for each piece of marketing collateral.
- Maintain a pre-approved disclaimer and disclosure library, adapted for each placement format (video, email, social, landing page).
- Monitor ad accounts across platforms for compliance posture and coordinate the response to platform reviews, account flags and takedowns.
- Evaluate every income or earnings claim against the FTC's Guides, distinguishing specific income claims, lifestyle claims and substantiated educational context.
- Audit testimonials across all channels, maintain an approved testimonial library with typicality disclosures on file, and require compliance sign-off before any testimonial runs in paid media.
- Review and approve sales webinar scripts and 1:1 sales frameworks before use.
- Conduct post-webinar and post-call compliance audits, with structured feedback to sales leadership and individual reps.
- Maintain a living library of approved language and prohibited phrases for the sales floor, and train new hires on it during onboarding.
- Audit the SMS marketing program for TCPA compliance: consent capture, opt-out handling, frequency disclosures and content restrictions.
- Review commercial email programs for CAN-SPAM compliance: identification headers, working unsubscribe links and non-deceptive subject lines.
- Track the evolving crypto/DeFi regulatory landscape as it bears on marketing claims (SEC, CFTC, state securities regulators and relevant international regimes), and flag marketing language drifting toward personalized investment advice.
- Develop and maintain relationships with teams as a trusted compliance partner, and identify opportunities to improve and automate workflows.
- Ensure a pre-launch compliance review workflow covers every webinar script, with post-event transcript review completed within 48 hours of each delivery.
- Contribute to the continued development of internal policies, training and reporting.
