Member of Technical Staff, Backend Engineering Lead - Portworx Enterprise

Overview

Backend Engineering Lead member of technical staff for the Portworx Enterprise team, focused on building cloud-native backend services and improving product quality.

What you'll do

• Design and develop cloud-native microservices and integrate new Portworx features.
• Drive design, development, unit/functional testing, code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD.
• Debug product and performance issues in large-scale clusters using AI tooling.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to move solutions from design to production.
• Own design and development by incorporating customer feedback and resolving issues in testing and deployments.
• Experiment with new technologies to innovate solutions for the state of the art.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise products.
• BS in Computer Science.
• Golang preferred.
• Good understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native platforms.
• Ability to design and operate microservices that scale in distributed systems to thousands of nodes.
• Expert debugging skills for ambiguous problems at scale in public/private cloud environments.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders from product management to customer beta partners.

Details

• Work is primarily in-office; expected to work from the Bangalore office unless on approved leave or work travel.
• Location: Bangalore, India.
