Member of Technical Staff

Overview

Member of Technical Staff role on the Pipeline Engineering team as a Software Engineer. You will build and operationally scale microservices and Temporal workflows for continuous integration across storage platforms.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy production microservices and durable Temporal workflows for resilient, resumable, debuggable pipeline execution.
• Extend scheduling logic and placement algorithms to minimize queue times and improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Build operational AI agents using RAG pipelines and agentic workflows over failure logs and metadata.
• Define platform metrics (e.g., time-to-signal and pass/flake rates) and operate services end-to-end for stability.
• Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams to deliver developer experience improvements and self-service tools.

What you'll need

• Strong expertise in typed systems languages such as Go or Rust for backend platform services.
• Python proficiency for automation and AI logic integration.
• Practical mastery of microservice concepts including concurrency, retries, and idempotency.
• Linux/Unix debugging skills across network, storage, and application layers.
• Knowledge of agentic workflows and prompt design, including LLM API integration with vector databases and RAG systems.
• Hands-on skill in containerizing microservices and managing workloads with Kubernetes.
• Data querying proficiency with SQL or analytics engines.

• Workplace location is primarily in-office, expected to work from the Bangalore office unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
