Overview
Lead software development, verification, and quality engineering for connected healthcare and regulated medical software. Own technical and people leadership across the product lifecycle, including cloud-native applications, APIs, user interfaces, microservices, medical-device integrations, and EMR/EHR workflows.
What you'll do
- Lead multidisciplinary software development, automation, performance, and verification teams.
- Define integrated software development and test strategies aligned with product roadmaps and release plans.
- Provide technical direction across requirements, architecture, design, implementation, integration, verification, and release.
- Establish engineering and test governance, quality metrics, traceability, and release-readiness processes.
- Own delivery of cloud-native applications, microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs, web interfaces, and integration services.
- Guide healthcare interoperability, medical-device, EMR/EHR, clinical workflow, and real-time communication integrations.
- Communicate delivery status, technical risks, test findings, and go/no-go recommendations to leadership.
What you'll need
- 12–18 years of software engineering, development, testing, verification, quality, or performance engineering experience.
- At least 5 years leading multidisciplinary technical teams in a regulated or safety-critical environment.
- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, or a related field.
- Technical leadership with C#/.NET, REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, web applications, and distributed systems.
- Experience with functional and automation testing using Playwright, Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, MSTest, or comparable tools.
- Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, automated quality gates, and observability.
- Healthcare expertise covering HL7, FHIR, EMR/EHR workflows, connected medical devices, and regulated software practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with SIP, RTP, WebSocket, WebRTC, or comparable real-time communication technologies.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Application Insights, APM, centralized logging, or packet analysis.
- Knowledge of Azure Key Vault, Terraform, KEDA, infrastructure-as-code, service virtualization, or container security.
- Experience supporting regulatory audits, formal submissions, post-market investigations, or healthcare product releases.
- C#, Azure, Kubernetes, performance testing, healthcare interoperability, PMP, or PRINCE2 certification.
