Mobile Engineer (Chile, All Levels)

Overview

Mobile Engineer role focused on Sezzle’s React Native mobile app and cross-platform features. You’ll build, maintain, and support high-traffic customer-facing mobile functionality in a collaborative engineering team.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain new product features in a TypeScript React Native app.
• Partner with your team to solve challenges in high-traffic mobile applications.
• Provide support for the mobile app as a platform and help support larger product releases.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions for next-generation features.
• Contribute to code reviews and work hands-on with the codebase.
• Assist with planning, estimations, and project completion for team stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and React Native or React (web) experience.
• Comfort leveraging AI tools (Claude or equivalent) to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
• Bachelor's in computer science (preferred) or equivalent related experience.
• Close familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes.
