MS Security Engineer - EDR

Overview

Provide entry-level managed security and networking services, monitoring client infrastructure and resolving incidents to maintain operational service quality.

What you'll do

• Monitor client infrastructure and solutions for errors and incidents.
• Investigate and resolve first-line technical incidents and problems.
• Handle requests through telephone, ITSM tickets, and chat support.
• Perform patching and configuration-change maintenance activities.
• Escalate incidents and requests when necessary.
• Support project work and disaster recovery functions and tests.
• Update knowledge articles and identify process-improvement opportunities.

What you'll need

• Basic understanding of Pulse Secure SSL VPN and Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies.
• Basic understanding of Cisco Nexus, ASR, ISR, ACS, ISE, and Meraki technologies.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
• Understanding of ITSM tools and processes.
• Ability to follow SOPs and manage tickets consistently.
• Strong communication, active listening, planning, and adaptability skills.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computing, or equivalent experience.
