Network Engineer

Overview

Deliver network solutions and provide post-sales technical support for deployments, migrations, acceptance testing, and ongoing improvements. Work with customers, partners, and internal teams to resolve technical and design issues.

What you'll do

• Lead remote deployment support, network migrations, and acceptance testing.
• Support partner engineers during deployments and handle technical escalations.
• Review and validate Technical Deployment Package content.
• Collaborate with sales engineering, project management, technical support, and field service teams.
• Maintain as-built documentation for upgrades and reference.
• Join customer kick-off calls and guide pre-sales teams on serviceable network designs.

What you'll need

• Hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have experience in network engineering or a related technical role.
• Bring knowledge of Layer 0/1, Layer 2-3, or scripting and DevOps.
• Be fluent in native German and written and verbal English.
• Be proficient with Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Manage multiple projects and translate designs into deployable solutions.
• Support approximately 25% travel and 25% night-time maintenance windows.

Nice to have

• Experience collaborating in matrixed engineering, support, and field operations teams.
• Strong documentation and process development skills.
• Experience resolving technical issues under tight timelines.
