Networking Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1)

Overview

Networking Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) provides first-line onsite field engineering and technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents to meet SLA.

What you'll do

• Provide first-line onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients.
• Proactively identify technical problems/errors, log incidents, and drive them to effective resolution.
• Ensure assigned client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational.
• Ensure solution software is installed and configured according to client requirements.
• Respond to and diagnose alerts; escalate to L2 Field Engineer when not resolved within the stipulated time.
• Investigate first line support calls to identify root causes using knowledge articles.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
• Associate-level certification in networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry-level networking experience in routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
• Entry-level experience in technical support, diagnosis, and troubleshooting for clients.
• Entry-level experience providing remote support in networking technologies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a pressurized environment and put in longer hours when necessary.
