Networking Software Engineering System QA

Overview

Networking Software Engineering System QA is an onsite system QA role focused on validating customer-focused networking solutions through system-level testing, automation, and release certification.

What you'll do

• Perform feature, scale, migration, performance, and end-to-end solution validation.
• Analyze customer deployment architectures and network topologies to define test strategies.
• Design, develop, and execute system-level and solution-level test plans and automated cases.
• Build and maintain test lab environments representing customer deployments.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and devices running Junos/EVO operating systems.
• Execute automation and manual tests and analyze results to identify functional and performance issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) with software development teams to resolve defects.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Networking Systems Engineering, System Testing, Solution Validation, or related fields.
• Experience in service provider, cloud, core, or edge networking environments.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale network deployments and customer solution validation.
• Test automation development experience using Python and/or Robot Framework.
• Experience with network traffic generation and testing tools such as Ixia and Spirent.
• Hands-on experience with system testing, solution validation, test automation, and troubleshooting in service provider and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and related technologies.
