NOC Engineer

Overview

The NOC Engineer provides advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated incidents, ensuring service restoration within SLA.

What you'll do

• Investigate and resolve incidents escalated by Level 1.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using logs, configurations, and scripts.
• Apply fixes or temporary workarounds to restore services.
• Escalate critical or widespread issues to the Incident Manager.
• Collaborate with application, network, and infrastructure teams during major incidents.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolution details.
• Contribute to knowledge base and SOP improvements.

What you'll need

• 3–6 years of experience in NOC or IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS and networking fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, and cloud computing.
• Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot application/service issues.
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
