NPI Sourcing - Engineer

Overview

NPI Sourcing - Engineer will drive SCM deliverables for new product introduction (NPI) projects, leading sourcing strategy and supplier engagement at the project level for ESA.

What you'll do

• Drive SCM deliverables for NPI projects.
• Lead sourcing strategy execution per prolaunch activity matrix at project level.
• Engage early in the NPI process to build SCM strategy per policies and category management strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering and supplier teams to enable cost-competitive purchasing with quality and timeline targets.
• Manage supplier engagement from identification through RFQ analysis, audits, negotiation, and purchase requisitions.
• Serve on the CFT to support on-time NPI implementation and deployment globally at optimum cost and right quality.

What you'll need

• 6-9 years of experience from manufacturing or engineering background, or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement process and tools.
• Strong knowledge of NPI lifecycle.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of reporting and analytics for presentations to project and leadership teams.
• Process knowledge for electrical and mechanical categories is required.
