Procurement Analyst

Overview

Procurement Manager responsible for running an efficient procurement operation for materials, supplies, equipment, and services supporting clinical trials.

What you'll do

• Manage and track the request for proposal (RFP) lifecycle.
• Negotiate preferential pricing and supplier terms and conditions.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Manage solicitation by reviewing/comparing specifications and costs and supporting negotiations with vendors to reduce costs.
• Develop tools and processes for efficient, quality-driven procurement.
• Ensure compliance in purchasing, especially in vendor selection and bidding.
• Lead transformational activities to build procurement capabilities and improve efficiency.

What you'll need

• 5 years of work experience in life science procurement and outsourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or related field (or international equivalent).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
• Knowledge and ability to negotiate best vendor terms and pricing.
• Experience with clinical trial procurement and contract research organization operations.
