Procurement Analyst

Overview

The Procurement Manager manages procurement operations for materials, supplies, equipment, and services supporting clinical trials.

The role organizes and supervises procurement activities including RFP lifecycle management, vendor negotiations, and savings target tracking.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Manage the RFP lifecycle, including soliciting and comparing specifications and costs.
• Negotiate preferential pricing and supplier terms and conditions.
• Establish and track progress toward savings targets.
• Develop tools and processes for efficient and quality-driven procurement.
• Ensure compliance in purchasing, especially vendor selection and bidding.
• Lead transformational activities to build procurement capabilities and improve efficiency.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or related field (or international equivalent).
• Have at least five years of work experience in life science procurement and outsourcing.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Know purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
• Have knowledge and ability to negotiate best vendor terms and pricing.
• Have experience with clinical trial procurement and contract research organization operations.
