Onshore Engineer

Overview

Onshore Engineer role at KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), focused on structural analysis and design of jacket and FPSO topsides structures.

What you'll do

• Analyse and design the structure as per the project technical specification and relevant codes, and prepare inputs to the Designer to develop drawings.
• Check and review drawings and documents as per the checklist.
• Prepare technical specifications following discussions with the client or counterpart.
• Perform Jacket/Topside structure in-service and pre-service analyses: in place, loadout, lift, transportation, etc.
• Carry out quantity estimation for steel and concrete structures.

What you'll need

• Graduate engineer.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Sound knowledge of analysis and design of jacket/FPSO and topsides.
• Software exposure in SACS, GRLWEAP, SESAM, and review of 3D models in Navisworks.
• Good communication skills.
• Enthusiasm to learn new concepts.
• Adaptability to relocate to different centres/countries.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
