Operations Manager

Overview

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, vendor coordination and cost efficiency for dark stores, including cold chain processes.

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including sorting, grading, transformation and dispatch of products.
• Ensure timely delivery and stock availability for all dark stores.
• Manage complete warehouse operations including cold chain processes while ensuring quality standards and SOP compliance within defined cut-off timelines.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain proper stock control processes.
• Monitor stock levels and share daily stock audit reports with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure timely identification and liquidation of damaged and expired inventory as per SOP and customer SLA.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely availability of operational resources such as contract associates, security personnel and transportation facilities.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure service delivery as per agreed requirements.
• Track productivity across warehouse processes and implement improvements to minimize operational waste.
• Manage operational efficiency to control variable costs and improve process performance.
• Ensure daily KPIs agreed with customers are achieved and present operational performance reports during daily review meetings.
• Ensure timely processing of vendor bills as per PR/PO process in SAP and maintain proper documentation.

What you'll need

• 6–8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in FMCG, grocery or fresh produce supply chains.
• Experience in handling cold chain operations and high-volume warehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse processes and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for billing and operational processes.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and operational reporting abilities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
