Oracle Finance Functional - Director

Overview

Lead client-facing Oracle Finance consulting efforts focused on configuring, implementing, and maintaining Oracle Financials solutions that support general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other core finance processes.

What you'll do

• Lead Oracle Finance transformation engagements from strategy through implementation and stabilization.
• Shape client solution design across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and record to report processes.
• Direct teams through Oracle Financials configuration, testing, data conversion, and deployment activities.
• Develop client relationships and identify opportunities to expand finance process improvement and application consulting services.
• Translate finance and accounting requirements into scalable Oracle Finance operating models and system designs.
• Guide delivery of integration points, reporting needs, and controls across Oracle Finance and connected applications.
• Mentor teams on finance transformation methods, Oracle Financials functionality, and issue resolution approaches.
• Validate project progress, risks, and dependencies while balancing executive priorities and multiple client workstreams.
• Advise on process redesign, financial reporting impacts, and operating model changes for finance modernization initiatives.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 16 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Finance, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Management Information Systems.
• At least one of the following: Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or related Oracle ERP Finance Cloud modules.
• Leading Oracle Finance transformation initiatives across complex client environments.
• Translating finance strategy into Oracle Cloud solution direction.
• Managing executive client conversations across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Driving business development through Oracle finance advisory opportunities.
• Applying financial accounting and reporting knowledge to system design.
