Program Manager - PH Platforms

Overview

Program Manager for Philips PH Platforms, responsible for building and maintaining the project organization, the overall program/project plan, and driving lean implementation and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain the project organization, determine the ways of working and define key interfaces.
• Formulate and be accountable for the overall program/project plan, in consultation with management and stakeholders.
• Spearhead lean implementation and drive continuous improvement through Daily Management, KAIZEN and PRIDE.
• Organize the resources to be used (quality, time, allocation, budget and information), help the team organize, and specify quality standards in processes.
• Identify project risks (e.g. specs, costs, planning) and develop scenarios with corrective actions to overcome them and drive projects to closure.
• Coach and direct project team members and give them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally.
• Gather and integrate project performance and progress information, and report on quality, status, time and budget to LT and project members at an agreed frequency.
• Ensure effective transfer and archiving of project results and associated knowledge.
• Choose the adequate tools and way of working, tailoring the approach to the specific project, and define interfaces with internal and external functions.
• Deploy process improvements and make the project organization efficient and transparent, in line with departmental and project processes and corporate policies, rules and procedures.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders by establishing the required communication structure and periodic reporting.

What you'll need

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 4+ years of project/program management experience driving major complex programs.
• 12+ years of industry experience.
• Able to indirectly lead very large cross-functional teams, with strong influencing skills to deliver results, formulating project plans in consultation with management and other concerned parties based on requirements.
• Good understanding of Mobile (Android, iOS) and backend technologies.
• Strong technical and functional leadership, influencing, negotiation, relationship management, analytical and team management skills, with experience working in a highly matrix organization structure.
• Ability to work with people across hierarchical levels in project execution as per stakeholder expectations.
