About the Job
We are seeking an organized and proactive Order Booking & Billing Executive to join our motor manufacturing team in Ahmedabad. This FullTime, OnSite role requires a candidate with 3–4 years of relevant experience to manage order lifecycle activities including order booking, pricing validation, billing, inventory monitoring, and logistics coordination. The ideal professional will have hands-on experience with ERP systems, a strong understanding of invoicing and dispatch processes, and the ability to produce timely MIS reports. Occasional local travel may be required.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end order booking, ensuring accurate pricing and terms validation before confirmation.
- Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of invoices; maintain accurate billing records and reconciliations — emphasizing billing accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform periodic stock audits, and coordinate with production and stores teams to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate dispatch operations with logistics partners and internal teams to ensure on-time shipments and correct documentation for domestic and export consignments.
- Handle customer interactions related to order status, delivery schedules, and billing queries with professional communication and swift resolution.
- Prepare daily and periodic MIS reports for management, highlighting order status, pending invoices, stock variances, and shipment updates.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and logistics to streamline processes and implement improvements in order-to-cash workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with 3–4 years of experience in order booking & billing within manufacturing.
- Proven experience with ERP systems for order processing, inventory control, and invoicing.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock audits, and invoicing procedures.
- Experience in dispatch coordination, logistics partner management, and export shipment processes (preferred).
- Good customer handling skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations.
- Familiarity with Oracle will be an added advantage; strong Excel skills for MIS reporting.
