Specialist - VMI

Overview

Specialist role supporting VMI (vendor-managed inventory) operations for Flex, based in Chennai.

What you'll do

• Manage inventory located at a 3rd party hub location remotely through regular reconciliation and tracking.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Reduce inventory ageing.
• Report sales and inventory on a weekly basis.
• Reconcile sub-module vs trial balance.
• Manage month-end close.
• Support SOX and audit.
• Use good knowledge of ERP and finance applications.

What you'll need

• Good analytical ability.
• Strong number crunching skills.
• Three to four years of experience in GL, intercompany activity, AR or AP.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and email software.
• Good presentation skills and teamwork.
