Payroll Associate

Overview

Payroll Associate role responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee payroll/tax accuracy, and supporting employees with payroll queries.

What you'll do

• Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll.
• Maintain and update employee records in coordination with Human Resources.
• Partner with Leave of Absences to ensure proper payments during leave.
• Process bonuses or severance when needed.
• Review federal and state income and related taxes for accurate calculation.
• Reconcile payroll deposits, tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and voluntary deductions.
• Create reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions, plus ad-hoc reports.

What you'll need

• 2 years of payroll experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience with Workday and ADP preferred.
• Ability to learn specialized payroll software such as UltiPro, Star, etc.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
