Overview
Payroll Specialist role supporting accurate, timely payroll processing for EMEA countries and ensuring compliance with local regulations, controls, and company policies.
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned EMEA countries with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Partner with payroll vendors and in-country providers to validate results and resolve discrepancies for monthly processing.
- Review payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, benefits, equity transactions, absences) and perform audits/reconciliations.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, statutory filings, year-end activities, and payroll accounting (journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis).
- Collaborate with HR, People Operations, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Mobility, and Benefits to resolve payroll queries and support close activities.
- Ensure payroll compliance and governance while identifying process/control automation opportunities and supporting payroll-related projects.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of hands-on payroll experience supporting multiple EMEA countries.
- Strong understanding of EMEA payroll legislation, taxation, social security, statutory requirements, and employment-related payroll practices.
- Experience with global payroll platforms such as Workday, CloudPay, and ADP.
- Strong payroll accounting and reconciliation experience including payroll journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.

- Hybrid role based in Bangalore office.
- Location: Bengaluru, India.
- Working hours: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM IST, Monday through Friday.
