Performance Engineer MTS/SMTS

What you'll do

• Analyze large-scale distributed environments to optimize application performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and debug code to identify and fix performance issues.
• Measure and optimize UI and mobile user experience across devices.
• Own and drive performance initiatives across the engineering team and industry.
• Design and build automation and processes to repeat performance tests each build and detect regressions in production pods.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in a performance engineering role analyzing, solving, and automating performance workloads on large-scale systems.
• Developer experience building platforms and applications.
• Experience building automation tools.
• Coding experience in Java, C, Python, and Ruby on Rails, with knowledge of modular design.
• Deep knowledge of Java internals including JVM performance tuning and GC mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Java profiling tools such as JProfiler and YourKit.
