Physical design Engineer

Overview

Physical Design Engineer responsible for the physical implementation of IP, subsystem or IC design, from RTL synthesis through GDS implementation and optimization.

What you'll do

• Perform physical implementation of IP, subsystem or IC design from RTL synthesis to GDS implementation and optimization.
• Execute floorplanning and routing.
• Drive timing convergence (STA), including related design ECO.
• Perform physical verification to fulfil technology and reliability rules, such as DRC/LVS/Electromigration/IR drops.
• Contribute to problem solving related to physical design.
• Contribute to defining the best physical design strategy per technology node.
