Piping Design Engineer

Overview

Piping Design Engineer role at GE Vernova focused on designing and laying out auxiliary systems such as piping, valves, tubes, fluid delivery and removal, pumps, actuators and tooling.

What you'll do

• Facilitate the design and layout of all components and systems that are auxiliaries to the main product, such as piping, valves, tubes, fluid delivery and removal (fuel, lube, hydraulics), pumps, actuators, tooling, etc.
• Broaden knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
• Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
• Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Explain technical information to others.

What you'll need

• Basic experience in Engineering/Technology and accessories, with knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Good interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
