Planning Project Engineer

Overview

The Planning Project Engineer develops, monitors, and controls project schedules and plans to support delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

What you'll do

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Create WBS and define critical path milestones.
• Track progress vs baseline schedules and update forecasts.
• Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate planning with contractors, consultants, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change logs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or controls within construction, engineering, or real estate development.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of critical path methodology (CPM) and earned value management (EVM).
• Knowledge of construction processes, procurement cycles, and permitting requirements.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
