Sr Associate – Digital-led Transformation & Capital Project Management (Metals & Mining), CPI, Advisory

Overview

Sr Associate to support PMO and digital-led transformation for capital projects in metals & mining, including planning, controls, reporting, vendor tracking, and digital/AI enablement.

What you'll do

• Maintain work plans and look-ahead schedules and update progress, logic ties, and milestones in Primavera/MS Project.
• Run EVM calculations (CPI/SPI), perform cost/schedule variance analysis, and prepare management reports.
• Track risks, update risk registers and mitigation progress, and support safety audit follow-ups and compliance documentation.
• Track material delivery performance and maintain vendor scorecards and expediting logs.
• Build Power BI/Tableau dashboards covering time, cost, risk, quality, and safety, and support BIM (5D) linkages and model reviews.
• Operate drone/LiDAR progress workflows (with supervision), manage IoT + geo-fencing dashboards, and use GenAI assistants for structured project communications.
• Maintain PMO registers and compile weekly/monthly packs; coordinate meetings and actions with EPCs/vendors/regulators.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years relevant experience in construction, metals/mining, and PMO on capex projects.
• Hands-on with Primavera/MS Project.
• Hands-on with Power BI/Tableau/Excel and BIM tools (Navisworks/Revit/Synchro).
• Exposure to drone/LiDAR and IoT tracking (advantageous).
• Strong planning & controls, data handling, dashboarding, report writing, and on-ground coordination.
• Willingness to obtain PMP certification within 12 months (PMP preferred).
• BE/B.Tech (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) + MBA or M.Tech (NICMAR) preferred; M.Tech preferred.
