Plant Logistics Manager

Overview

Plant Logistics Manager role focused on warehouse and stores/logistics operations for receiving, inventory accuracy, dispatch, and coordinating material flows to support uninterrupted plant operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain plant logistics operations for RM/PM receiving, issuance, inventory accuracy, and FG dispatch to GT/MT/Ecom and export channels.
• Oversee 3P warehouse operations, including co-packing and dispatch from 3P to customers and depots.
• Manage stock accounting and ICP implementation with daily stock taking, recording receipts, and confirming inventories.
• Coordinate dispatch and 3P activities by aligning production, 3P, and transporters to meet dispatch plans and order fulfillment for Ecom/MT.
• Support export order execution, including schedule coordination and proper documentation for export shipments.
• Ensure safety and quality norms in the warehouse, including compliance with QMS requirements and implementing safety systems.
• Run warehouse administration and control activities like monthly closing and material variance reporting with corrective actions.

What you'll need

• Lead plant logistic operations covering receiving, issuance to production, inventory accuracy, and FG dispatch.
• Experience in stock accounting and reconciling material consumption while managing excess/return of material.
• Ability to manage indirect material engineering store inventory and operations.
• Capability to administer safety rules, identify hazards, and implement policy/system changes for engineering stores.
• Lead 3P logistic operations and coordinate with transporters for mill logistics/distribution.
• Ensure daily stocks taking, recording receipts, and confirming inventories.
