Platform System Engineer

Overview

Platform System Engineer designing, validating, deploying, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure platforms for healthcare imaging solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain platform architectures for enterprise healthcare imaging solutions.
• Define infrastructure standards, deployment models, and system sizing recommendations.
• Evaluate new technologies and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support virtualization, storage, networking, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, performance, and reliability issues.
• Develop automation scripts/tools for infrastructure monitoring and usage analytics.
• Drive security, system hardening, patching, and compliance activities.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in platform/infrastructure/system administration/solution architecture.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and virtualization technologies.
• Good understanding of Windows Server and Linux platforms.
• Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, and backup solutions.
• Scripting/automation experience using PowerShell and/or Python.
