Platform Test Automation Engineer-2

Overview

Platform Test Automation Engineer to validate end-to-end automotive software and ECU features in a multi-cultural engineering setup.

What you'll do

• Derive and document functional and non-functional test specifications.
• Automate test scenarios using Python, Robot Framework, and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Perform end-to-end system validation across multiple ECUs and software subsystems.
• Analyze system traces, logs, and communication traffic to detect and diagnose issues.
• Apply AI-driven testing methodologies for test generation, trace analysis, and anomaly detection.
• Use prompt-engineering to generate test scripts, documentation, and analysis reports.

What you'll need

• 3–7 years experience for the Platform Test Engineer role.
• Automotive & platform-testing experience, especially in SDV/SW ECU platforms.
• Strong test automation expertise with Python and Robot Framework.
• Experience with Linux/Android/QNX systems, including file systems and network configuration.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, SOME-IP, and DOIP.
• Experience with trace/log analysis tools such as Vector CANoe, VehicleSpy, and Wireshark.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics: OBD, UDS, DoIP; familiarity with CANoe.DiVa and CANape.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification (optional).
• Adaptive AUTOSAR experience.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Conan).
• Workflow/CI creation in GitHub for continuous test automation.
