Power BI Developer II

Overview

Power BI Developer II to build and scale enterprise Trial Analytics for clinical trials, finance, and executive reporting within Project Finance & Analytics.

What you'll do

• Gather reporting requirements with Trial Operations, Project Finance, and Project Managers and convert them into technical solutions.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for metric definitions, business rules, and reporting logic.
• Provide insights and recommendations using trend visualization and dashboard usage.
• Design and maintain Power BI semantic models, including DAX measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and table relationships.
• Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and refresh efficiency.
• Translate business-defined KPIs into analytics logic across trial execution, portfolio health, and financial performance.
• Implement governance activities such as RLS, workspace permissions, and dataset access controls.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience developing enterprise Power BI solutions.
• Strong expertise in DAX, including complex measures and time intelligence.
• Expertise in Power BI semantic modeling.
• Power Query (M) for light transformations.
• SQL for validation and analysis.
• Experience with data modeling with star schema and grain management.
• Ability to translate business logic into analytical models for operational and executive audiences.
