Sr Business Intelligence Engineer

Overview

Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for the Intelligence team, focused on designing and optimizing scalable data models, datasets, and analytics for reporting and self-service.

What you'll do

• Translate business reporting needs into functional requirements with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Build and optimize Tableau dashboards and KPI frameworks with governance and row-level security.
• Ensure data consistency and quality by partnering with the data management team.
• Apply dbt modeling, testing, version control, and release management best practices.
• Run data analysis and ad-hoc queries to support decision-making.
• Support information security responsibilities, including implementing security policies and reporting issues.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on analytics engineering experience with dbt.
• Advanced proficiency with Tableau (Cloud and Desktop), including row-level security and performance optimization.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Experience working with AWS-based data platforms.
• Excellent English communication skills to present analysis results to non-technical audiences.
