Overview

Power BI Developer / Technical Lead responsible for transforming raw data into insightful dashboards and reports that support business decisions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs and align with stakeholders' requirements.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
• Optimize data models for performance and usability in Power BI.
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
• Provide technical support to users for Power BI-related tasks.
• Connect Power BI to diverse data sources like SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure secure and reliable data connections.
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy in reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Monitor and enhance dashboard performance.
• Stay updated on Power BI features and best practices, implementing new functionalities to improve reporting.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and visualization.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Data Modelling.
• Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and workflows.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
