Presales Engineer - Cyber Security experience is a must**

Overview

Presales Engineer for cybersecurity solutions at SonicWall, supporting sales and channel technical activities.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery conversations to qualify and validate customer requirements and use cases.
• Create bills of materials aligned to desired customer outcomes.
• Deliver technical sales presentations, product and solution demonstrations across the SonicWall portfolio.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with channel partners through recurring meetings.
• Support remote partner product trials and run proof of concepts with partners or customers.
• Participate in beta testing and provide feedback alongside product management.
• Support onboarding of new solution engineers and assist regional technical marketing initiatives.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in Presales/Solution engineering (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in cyber security products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with L2–L7 networking technologies and protocols, and stateful firewall plus IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of cyber security related areas including NAT, VPN and encryption (IPsec/SSL), PKI and key management.
• Working knowledge of governance/compliance areas and requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, SOX, GDPR mentioned).
• Experience with technologies including Active Directory/LDAP and scripting/regular expressions or custom signatures.

• Work pattern: typically 70% office or remote working in the regional country aligned to, with up to 30% travel.
• Mumbai-based candidates are preferred.
