Principal Agentic Engineer

Overview

Principal Agentic Engineer is a senior individual-contributor role responsible for owning an agentic resolution platform end to end, including the cloud-native substrate and intelligent agents.

What you'll do

• Architect an agentic resolution platform from intake through action execution, verification, and human-in-the-loop fallback.
• Build agent runtime, orchestration, and multi-agent coordination patterns with confidence-thresholded handoffs.
• Design production LLM application patterns including prompt engineering, RAG, structured outputs, and multi-model routing.
• Architect and operate Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent) at scale for agentic and LLM inference workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with model/agent versioning, canary rollouts, evaluation gates, and rollback.
• Own observability using Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry and define SLOs/SLIs for platform and agentic system health.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of progressive technology experience with hands-on architecture and delivery of automation/AIOps/agentic systems or cloud-native platforms at enterprise scale.
• Ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes such as deflection rate and operational-toil reduction in production.
• Fluency in agentic system design: agent runtimes, multi-agent orchestration, tool integration, and memory/state management.
• Experience with frameworks including LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or MCP.
• Production experience with LLM patterns such as prompt engineering, RAG, structured outputs, and multi-model routing.
• Deep cloud-native background including Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent), Terraform, and at least one major cloud AI stack (AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry, or Vertex AI).
• Expert-level Python for production services (Go also welcome).
