Principal AI Solution Engineer / AI Architect

Overview

Lead the architecture and hands-on delivery of enterprise AI solutions from discovery through production and continuous improvement. Guide scalable, secure, responsible AI adoption across Azure, enterprise applications, and data platforms.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end architecture and technical delivery for enterprise AI solutions.
• Design Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, RAG, and agent-based solutions.
• Integrate AI capabilities with REST APIs, Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, and Microsoft services.
• Establish reference architectures, reusable components, engineering standards, and deployment practices.
• Define responsible AI, privacy, security, access, safety, auditability, and compliance controls.
• Lead architecture and code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor engineers.
• Communicate architecture decisions, risks, trade-offs, and business value to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, architecture, cloud, data, or AI.
• Hands-on experience delivering multiple production-grade generative AI, RAG, enterprise search, or agent solutions.
• Strong experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.
• Deep knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval, grounding, and evaluation.
• Strong REST API and JSON integration experience, including authentication, resilience, and error handling.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and Oracle APEX or comparable platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure AI or architecture certifications.
• Experience establishing an enterprise AI center of excellence or governance model.
• Experience with model routing, fine-tuning, multimodal AI, knowledge graphs, or advanced retrieval.
• Exposure to MLOps, machine learning platforms, and model monitoring.
