Overview
Principal Architect owning and driving end-to-end architecture for large-scale distributed systems.
What you'll do
- Own overall system architecture across multiple domains.
- Define and drive long-term architectural vision and technical roadmap.
- Design and review high-level system designs, data flows, and integration patterns.
- Serve as technical authority for complex architectural decisions and trade-offs.
- Establish and evolve architecture standards, design principles, and best practices.
- Drive adoption of modern architectures including microservices and event-driven systems.
- Identify architectural risks and drive mitigation strategies.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering with significant system architecture focus.
- Ability to influence without authority and align across multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and API/data/integration patterns.
- Strong experience designing and evolving large-scale distributed cloud-based systems.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
