Principal Design Verification Quality Engineer

Overview

Principal Design Verification Quality Engineer to lead DRAM verification methodology and quality improvement across project families.

What you'll do

• Define and drive DRAM verification methodology, quality standards, and AI-enabled strategies.
• Lead closed-loop silicon learning by identifying verification gaps and incorporating lessons learned into requirements and methodologies.
• Own and continuously improve the JAMA requirements framework to support alignment, scalability, and adoption.
• Simplify and optimize verification workflows using automation, AI, and process improvements to reduce cycle time and accelerate debug.
• Partner across engineering teams to drive methodology decisions and scale verification approaches.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in DRAM verification, validation, or product engineering.
• Expertise in digital and analog verification methodologies, including testbench development, stimulus generation, and debug.
• Understanding of VLSI fundamentals, semiconductor devices, and DRAM architecture.
• Experience with Linux environments and EDA tools, including Cadence Virtuoso.
• Experience using AI/ML/LLM tools to improve engineering productivity.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing and advancing scalable verification methods or workflows across projects or teams.
• Experience with requirements management and tracking/documentation workflows such as JAMA and JIRA.
• Experience mentoring and developing less experienced engineers.
• Hands-on development of analog and digital verification testbenches using SystemVerilog, UVM, SpectreFx, and PrimeSim.
• Advanced scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl) for verification automation or data analysis.
