Principal Designer - Piping Layout

Overview

Principal Designer - Piping Layout role focused on developing unit plot plans/equipment layouts and ensuring piping design integrity on onshore projects.

What you'll do

• Develop unit plot plans and equipment layouts.
• Conduct layout optimization studies.
• Prepare MTO.
• Review vendor packages.
• Support piping design integrity during project execution.
• Guide young designers.

What you'll need

• Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical.
• 15-20 years of experience in piping/layout-related skills and responsibilities.
• Excellent knowledge of S3D, MS Office, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
• Good knowledge of mechanical handling concepts.
• Good knowledge of support selection and modelling.
• Good knowledge of ISO checking and back drafting; support ISO team needs.
• Good communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge in PML macros development.
• Special support drawing creation experience.
