Overview
Draftsman (Architecture / Civil / MEP) for airport development projects, responsible for preparing, updating, coordinating, and managing engineering and construction drawings.
What you'll do
- Prepare, revise, and update GFC drawings, shop drawings, construction drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Incorporate site changes, RFIs, technical review comments, and approved design revisions into project drawings.
- Review drawings for completeness, consistency, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, site teams, BIM specialists, consultants, and contractors to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Prepare detailed sections, layouts, schedules, and construction details as required.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, transmittals, and document control records, including red-line markups/record drawings.
- Support quantity take-offs and drawing-based data extraction when required.
What you'll need
- 5–10 years of experience in drafting and preparation of engineering drawings.
- At least 5 years of experience in airport and aviation infrastructure projects (preferred).
- Experience preparing and updating GFC, shop, coordination, and as-built documentation.
- AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and BIM platforms knowledge/usage.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and Common Data Environments (CDE) and document management systems.
- Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
- Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, BIM Modelling, or equivalent drafting software (preferred).

- Requires in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
