Overview
Lead SoC execution from specification to silicon across domains, defining technical strategy and architecture for complex SoCs and digital systems. Serve as a technical authority while driving product and technology roadmaps and product actualization.
What you'll do
- Define long-term product and technology roadmaps for complex SoCs and systems.
- Lead technical IP assessments, vendor selection, and foundry technology node evaluations.
- Author and drive top-level SoC definitions alongside business and architecture teams, including fabric interconnects (NoC), memory hierarchies, power management, and micro-architecture.
- Lead SoC execution from initial concept through definition, tape-out, and final productization.
- Ensure all silicon milestones meet strict Power, Performance, Area, and Cost (PPA) requirements.
- Drive final sign-off reviews for synthesis, DFT, constraints, timing closure, and physical design tape-out.
- Direct and collaborate closely with Design (RTL), Verification (DV), DFT, Physical Design (PD), Power, and Silicon Validation (SiVal).
- Partner with software, systems, manufacturing, and program management to guarantee high-quality, first-time-right silicon success.
- Lead executive decision-making, mitigate program risks, and manage communications across business units, product marketing, and customers.
What you'll need
- Visionary capability to define and drive technical strategy for digital design.
- Exceptional ability to drive innovation in digital design approaches and solutions.
- Authority in complex SoC architecture design and implementation.
- Comprehensive mastery across multiple technical domains.
- Strong understanding of business context and ability to align technical strategy with business goals.
- Recognized expertise with ability to influence industry direction.
