Overview
Principal Engineer responsible for planning and leading IT technology capability and maturity assessments for client franchisees, and translating outcomes into recommendations and roadmaps.
What you'll do
- Plan and lead comprehensive IT capability and maturity assessments for client franchisees.
- Run discovery workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews to capture current-state capabilities and requirements.
- Assess IT maturity across strategy, governance, IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service management, SDLC, and vendor management.
- Design and apply IT maturity assessment frameworks and benchmarks.
- Gather, analyze, score, and synthesize assessment findings across IT domains and franchisee environments.
- Develop phased technology roadmaps and actionable recommendations tied to business outcomes.
- Present assessment findings and roadmaps to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 11+ years of experience in IT consulting, technology strategy, IT transformation, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience assessing and improving IT operating models, processes, and capabilities.
- Experience designing and executing IT assessment frameworks using maturity models and best practices.
- Knowledge of IT service management practices, including ITIL (incident, problem, change, service request).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and tools such as Jira.
- Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
