Principal Engineer -Technical Information

Overview

Technical Documentation Engineer for the FPGA Technical Publications team, creating and maintaining documentation for FPGA/SoC products.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and publish user-focused technical documentation for FPGA/SoC products.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to ensure content accuracy and completeness.
• Apply documentation standards, style guides, and structured authoring practices.
• Create diagrams, workflows, and illustrations to improve documentation clarity.
• Manage deliverables and meet tight deadlines while improving documentation processes.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in EDA or semiconductor.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Experience with structured authoring, DITA workflows, and documentation deliverable management.
• Expertise with authoring tools (FrameMaker, MS Word) and graphic tools (MS Visio).
• Experience with collaboration platforms (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint).
• Hands-on experience with EDA/semiconductor tools for content creation.
• Degree in English literature or Electronics engineering.
