Principal I, Software Engineering (T)

Overview

Design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack software for digital health products, with a focus on AWS cloud services and healthcare applications.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy secure, high-performance full-stack web applications.
• Develop responsive and accessible interfaces using React or Angular.
• Build server-side logic, databases, and APIs using Node.js, Java Spring Boot, or Python.
• Design AWS solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Automate deployments and monitor application health using AWS DevOps tools.
• Implement microservices, containers, and API Gateway authentication modules.
• Perform testing, debugging, documentation, and architectural improvements.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with React or Angular.
• Strong experience with Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL or similar database management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with DevOps tools, microservices, and containers.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare-related digital applications.
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance.
• Leadership experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
