Java Full Stack Engineer - Assistant Manager

Overview

Senior Developer for GTS Integration Services, responsible for analysis, design, and development of integration solutions.

What you'll do

• Analyze, design, and develop solutions for integration services.
• Deliver development tasks using coding best practices and non-functional considerations.
• Participate in major technical upgrades and large technical efforts.
• Manage efforts inside and outside the agile team to complete tasks within deadlines and quality standards.
• Understand user needs and propose optimized solution options.
• Anticipate critical issues and risks and take ownership of resolution.
• Build integrations using file transport, messaging, and API integration protocols.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience developing web applications in Java and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Spring MVC and Microservices on native and open cloud platforms using CI/CD.
• Experience delivering enterprise web applications in Java, Spring Boot, or Python.
• Must have experience with Angular and/or React.JS & Node.js.
• Must have experience with one or more protocols: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, GRPC, Avro, WebSocket.
• Hands-on experience with relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Pytest.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift (etc.).
• Experience with build frameworks (Maven or Gradle) or (Poetry, PDM or Pipenv).
• Work experience in Agile teams with understanding of the Agile model.
